Abstract
The mixed peripheral nerve consists f motor. cutaneous, and Ia afferent fibers. The animal study has shown that each fiber has different conduction velocity. To determine the conduction velocity of the different fibers, we measured the mixed
nerve
within the same segment in neurologically healthy adult subjects of 20. The motor conduction velocity was 53.17(4.63m/s; Cutaneous nerve, 58.85(4.91m/s; Ia afferent nerve 64.31(7.61m/s; Mixed nerve, 63.71(5.50m/s. These results may implicate
which
fibers might contribute to the spinal reflex.
